One of the most exciting recent milestones for the Family Justice Center came through the Sundt Foundation North Texas Charity Golf Tournament, which raised an incredible $150,000 for Denton County Friends of the Family.
This year’s sold-out tournament brought together approximately 280 golfers across two courses at Trophy Club, along with sponsors, volunteers, and community partners choosing to invest in safety, healing, and stability for survivors and their families.
The support comes at exactly the right time. With Phase 1 construction underway, we have now secured nearly $12 million toward the $16.7 million Phase 1 project, leaving approximately $4.7 million to raise.
The Sundt Foundation is a wonderful example of the trailblazers joining Expedition Hope, partners willing to step forward, bring others with them, and help build the path for survivors and families.

$150,000 is more than a gift. It brings us another major step closer to opening the doors.
