Camp Hope & Pathways

What is Camp Hope?

What is Pathways?

Camp HOPE is the first evidence-based camping and mentoring program in the United States to focus on youth exposed to Domestic Violence. During a week-long overnight camping adventure, campers participate in special curriculum developed around traditional camp activities. Campers are challenged to step outside of their comfort zone and overcomes fears while learning new skills and gaining the hope they need to know that there is a bright future ahead, beyond the trauma they have endured in the past.

The Pathways to HOPE Project, also known as Pathways, is a year-round program for campers to meet up for monthly activities and mentorship. The goal of Pathways is to help campers focus on achieving goals in their lives and setting them up for a future free of violence, incarceration, substance abuse, and other dysfunctions.  Monthly activities are centered around exposing them to knowledge and experiences associated with nature, college prep, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
