Camp HOPE America - Denton County Friends of the Family
Providing a pathway to give children their childhood back
What is Camp HOPE America – Denton County Friends of the Family?
What is Pathways?
Camp HOPE America is a trauma-informed, evidence-based camping and mentoring program proven to increase hope and resiliency in youth exposed to domestic violence. Camp HOPE is a week-long overnight summer camp where youth gain the skills and hope they need to break the generational cycle of violence. Camp HOPE is provided free of charge to the families of youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience summer camp.
Camp HOPE America – Denton County Friends of the Family is more than just a week-long summer camp. Pathways is the year-round program that accompanies Camp Hope and brings youth back together for community and mentorship through monthly activities based in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), post-secondary education and career exploration.
